The challenge

Laying the foundation

In Autumn 2019, The Devout approached our team with a request to develop a unique clothing rental subscription platform. They wanted to launch a monthly subscription service offering designer brands and vintage pieces. The task was to provide an end-to-end solution and come up with an MVP in six months.

The strategy included performing a business analysis, designing visual appearance of the platform and conducting thorough testing.

The approach

End-to-end platform transformation

After thoroughly assessing the project and creating a business-alignment roadmap, the Devout team created an intuitive and visually appealing user interface (UI) that enhances user experience, considering the layout, color scheme and graphical elements while aligning with the brand and target audience.

The next step was to build both the back-enclosure and front-end. With Solvd’s support, the team developed the server-side logic, database management and integration (Back-end) as well as implementing the client-side interface and functionality (Front-end) to create a functional and cohesive platform.

The final step was to ensure high quality of the platform. The Devout was enabled to systematically verify and validate the platform’s functionality, performance and usability through various testing methods to ensure its quality, identify and resolve issues and provide a reliable and user-friendly experience.

The outcome

A scalable platform with user-friendly admin panel and secure billing operations

The first MVP was ready without any delays at the exact date The Devout planned. The scalable nature of the platform allows the seamless implementation of new features, effortless integration of third-party apps, and optimization of the order flow. Prioritizing smart time-to-market, the team utilized Laravel to deliver an easy-to-use admin panel, empowering efficient website and order management for a seamless user experience.

To ensure convenience and security, The Devout implemented Stripe, providing a robust payment gateway that ensures hassle-free and secure billing operations. In addition to development, comprehensive website content became the finer details. This included meticulously crafted privacy policy and terms and conditions pages, enhancing transparency and user trust.

The client received a robust solution, which is a perfect balance of performance reliability and neat design.
